Migrant and Seasonal Farm Worker Program (MSFW)
Also known as the National Farmworker Jobs Program (NFJP)
The Migrant and Seasonal Farmworker Program focuses on finding work for unemployed or underemployed farmworkers. This program helps farmworkers and their families achieve self-sufficiency through employment, maintain their job, and upgrade their skills training for future opportunities.
Review Eligibility
Must be:
- Over the age of 14
- Low income
- Struggling to secure a job or education due to personal challenges (i.e., children at home, no reliable transportation, history with the criminal justice system, etc.)
You must also meet at least one of the conditions below:
- A migrant farm worker whose agricultural work requires travel to a job site where they can’t go home at the end of the day, or
- A seasonal farmworker who has worked for 12 consecutive months (out of the last 24 months) primarily in agricultural or fish farming labor, but whose work is seasonal in nature and doesn’t go on all year long.
